To support women within science and technology, the Danish Zonta clubs will in 2019 award a scholarship of DKK 50,000 including a 2-year membership of a Zonta club to a female PhD student within these disciplines. Deadline for application is 15 July 2019.

Scholarships are offered for research stays at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), the CITRIS CENTRE at Berkeley University and SUNCAT at Stanford.

Looking for social events with your fellow AU researchers?

The PhD and Postdoc Activity Group is a cross-faculty organisation at Aarhus University (AU) that organizes monthly events for PhD students and postdocs in Aarhus. Their monthly events can be anything from daytrips to Djurs Sommerland, to ice skating, bowling and wine tasting. All events are held in English and normally free of cost.

Seats are still available on this 6-day course taught in Aarhus in April/May. The objective is to introduce participants to the details of communication and writing scientific publications, thus making them familiar with the forms of presenting new findings to various scientific forums.
