Oskar Franch. A double alpha helix structure, which is the same structure DNA has, can be observed in the neon light in the background.
The picture to the left depicts a DNA nanostructure that resembles a flower, a DNA nanoflower. To the right is a picture of actual flowers that has been included to illustrate the resemblance between the two. The DNA nanoflower is one of the two nanostructures Oskar Franch has studied through his Ph.D. and has shown potential as a vehicle for targeted delivery in macrophages, which are infected with a parasite.
